Kate Green
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Kate Green is an award-winning director and producer whose rare storytelling ability captures audiences. As a leader in entertainment, Kate works tirelessly to carve a path for women in the film industry. She was recently chosen by the Directors Guild of Canada to write and direct a short film on a virtual LED stage. Her ability to stay curious enables Kate to capture the nuanced texture of a character's story in a way that deeply resonates with viewers.
To date, she has worked on numerous programs in lifestyle and factual television and these have aired on various networks such as HGTV, W Network, CBC, History, Fuel TV and Slice.
Kate is the creator, director and producer of NarcoLeap — a sci-fi web series which first aired on TELUS OptikTV and CBC GEM. Season 2 recently launched on Highball TV and has now received its 2nd Canadian Screen Awards Nomination.
Amber Orchard
DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER
Amber Orchard started her producing career at age nine on the school playground and has been seeking reasons to entertain and celebrate ever since. Amber is also the Association Coordinator for the Motion Picture Industry Association of BC and has 25+ years of experience in producing events.
In 2020, she brought her production and organizing skills to the set of KGP’s Murphy's Law (CBC) as the production manager, as well as co-producing and production managing the highly anticipated Season 2 of NarcoLeap.
Most recently, Amber found herself working in the virtual production space, producing a two-day shoot for the Directors Guild of Canada in BC. This involved coordinating eight short films as well as an industry PSA due to launch during Creative Industries Week 2021. She is busily working on a number of projects as a Development Producer with KGP Films.
Cooper
Chief Morale Officer (CMO)
After a vigorous internship, KGP has the pleasure of announcing the full time placement of Cooper as our CMO- Chief Morale Officer.
This is Cooper’s first job and although he is still only 3 months old, we are confident that the shoe stealing, sock chewing, and puppy zoomies will subside as the years go on. He is excellent at cuddles and playtime which are greatly appreciated while working in the media industry and a ‘must have’ skill set for any CMO.
